When the body has a buildup of toxins, it becomes a hot bed for disease and infections. To keep from becoming a hot bed for infection, adequate sleep, plenty of exercise, a good diet and daily doses of Vibactra or Vibactra Plus will help.
Taking a look at the immune system
The immune system is a very complex assortment of various cells and molecules all joined and maintained. Each organ, cell and tissue plays a very important role in the immune response efforts. The liver and kidneys are responsible for ridding the body of toxins and waste in the blood. The cells in the skin are the defense against exterior threats. Working beneath or within these and other structures is the immune system – a fine tuned army consisting of million cells, organs microbes and chemicals. Each structure has its special function. Some serve as detectives with a sole purpose of seeking out waste products. While other structures serve as responding attackers (to kill and remove).
The immune system must be quick and powerful to be effective. The blood and lymphatic system serves as the transport and invasion structure, carrying antibodies (which are proteins that report any foreign presence to the immune system).
The purpose of the immune system is to keep infectious microorganisms, such as certain bacteria, viruses, and fungi, out of the body, and to destroy any infectious microorganisms that do invade the body. The immune system is made up of a complex and vital network of cells and organs that protect the body from infection.
- Natural immunity is created by the body's natural barriers, such as the skin, and protective substances in the mouth, the urinary tract, and on the eye surface. Another type of natural immunity is in the form of antibodies passed on from mother to infant.
- Acquired immunity develops through exposure to specific foreign microorganisms, toxins, and/or foreign tissues), which are "remembered" by the body's immune system. When that antigen enters the body again, the immune system "remembers" exactly how to respond to it, such as with Parvo or Feline Distemper. Once a pet is exposed to Parvo or Feline distemper (or the vaccine), the immune system will produce specific antibodies against disease. When that same pet is exposed to the disease again, the immune system will trigger the release of the particular Parvo or Feline Distemper antibodies to fight the disease.
Disorders of the immune system
When the immune system does not function properly, it leaves the body susceptible to an array of diseases. Allergies and hypersensitivity to certain substances are considered immune system disorders. Other examples of immune disorders include:
- cancer of the immune system
- diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and anemia
- viral hepatitis
The causes of an infectious disease
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), an infectious disease is caused by one or more of the following:
- viruses
- bacteria
- parasites or microscopic parasites
- fungi
Infectious diseases can range from common illnesses, such as a cold, to deadly illnesses. Depending on the specific illness and country, an infectious disease can spread in some or all of the following ways:
- Airborne transmission - transmission of an infection through inhaling airborne droplets of the disease, which may exist in the air as a result of a cough or sneeze from an infected pet
- Direct feces or urine contact - transmission of an infection through contact with feces or urine of an infected pet
- Insect-borne transmission - transmission of an infection through insects, such as mosquitoes, which draw blood from an infected animal and then bite a healthy animal
- Food-borne transmission - transmission of an infection through consuming contaminated food
- Water-borne transmission - transmission of an infection through contact with contaminated water
- Other mechanisms that can transmit a disease
The difference between viruses and bacteria
Viruses and bacteria cause the majority of infections. Viruses cause most colds, flu, coughs, and viral diseases. Bacteria cause most ear and sinus infections, urinary tract infections and bacterial diseases. Both bacteria and viruses can enter the body in many ways, including through inhalation, food, feces, and urine contact.
Antibiotics do work against infections
Traditional antibiotics can be used to treat bacterial infections. However, Amber Technology’s Vibactra and Vibactra Plus (natural, organic, antibiotic alternatives) are effective in treating virus-related illnesses. Traditional antibiotics treat specific bacteria and overuse or misuse of antibiotics can lead to drug-resistant bacteria. However, Vibactra and Vibactra Plus will not produce a tolerance which does not lead to drug resistance to viral or bacterial infections. It is important that traditional antibiotics are taken properly and for the duration of the prescription. Vibactra and Vibactra Plus can be taken for long periods of time to build immunity in the body. If traditional antibiotics are stopped early, the bacteria may develop a resistance and or cause the infection to mutate.
If an animal’s immune system is deficient or depleted by poor nutrition, immune-supportive supplements may not be useful with the exception of Amber Technology’s Vibactra and Vibactra Plus (taken at a low dose over a long period of time). The core job of building natural immunity begins with diet, exercise, and a clean, happy living environment.
Diet, diet, . . . diet!
For dogs and cats, strong immunity beginswith a diet consisting of good quality meat, (vegetables for those who are not administering an all meat diet) and well-balanced mix of vitamins and minerals, as all of these things are needed to build and maintain blood, muscle, and bone structure.
Essential fatty acid supplements are goodfor the skin and coat. Digestive enzymes and acidophilus will help maintain a healthy digestive tract. Keeping your pet happy, exercised, clean and happy will maintain core strength or the core of the immune system. Amber Technology’s Vibactra or Vibactra Plus can be administered twice daily to help build the immune system, fight off viral, bacterial, fungal, and microscopic parasitical infections.

The number of pets that receive a full TEN day course of Vibactra is determined by calculating the total absolute dose based on weight (see nomogram).
The standard dose of Vibactrais administered orally 4 times daily for up to 10 days. A 10 day dosing period is optimum. In the case of more significant illness, the product must be administered every 6 hours around the clock, even if the animal must be awakened. For both dosing scenarios, treatment lasts for up to ten days, depending on the specific infection being treated. As a rule of thumb, treatment should continue through full clinical recovery and then for three more days after that.
In the case of an infected pregnant adult animal, safe and effective administration is suggested to be body weight equivalent dose (nomogram chart above) administered strictly every 12 hours (whether awake or asleep).
In the case of an infant animal infection (an infected animal age 4 weeks or younger), the best route of administration is via mother’s milk. Therefore, the mother is treated as if she was infected, using her body weight to measure the amount of product used. This has the extra added advantage of treating the rest of a hypothetical litter—whether that be symptomatic treatment of undiagnosed disease or preventive treatment. As well, the mother is clearly receiving preventive treatment. This not only helps the entire litter, but has a preventive effect on the entire local environment. While the amount of nutraceutical and the frequency of feeding are both inexact quantities, as long as the care taker assures that the infant feeds well on a regular basis and does not get nudged out by the others in the litter, then this strategy is considered efficacious. Once the infant stops feeding on the mother, try using colostrums and combine the Parvaid and Vibactra to it
When treating more than one pet with the same dropper, it is necessary to assure sterile administration without carry over from pet to pet. The best way to assure this is to use the dropper only to transfer product to an individual sterile oral syringe—a different syringe for each pet. Those syringes should be sterilized after each use. Each pet should have its own syringe that is not shared with another pet. If a syringe is not readily available, then until one can be found, one may mix the product with a larger volume of flavored fluid (e.g. tuna or salmon water) that is to be lapped from a bowl. However, the use of a syringe assures a more accurate dose.
Long Term Use:
Co-administration of Vibactra with other Amber Technology products such as Otalgia Drops is short term. However, there are clinical settings in which Vibactra is utilized beyond a ten day regimen. Vibactra may be used for many months with clinical drug holidays (breaks) as directed for building the immune system. For the first six months of long term use, 1-2 times daily Vibactra is administered on a rotating basis—six months of product administration followed by 5 days in which no product is given. This six months on/5 days off staggered schedule may continue as needed for the first year of chronic use, defined as chronic after the initial ten days of administration. Administration of Vibactra beyond one year mandates a two week holiday (break) from product before re-starting the same rotating schedule. Vibactra may be administered as described for up to eighteen months. If further Vibactra is deemed necessary for the pet, then a minimum six week period off product is mandated, as is clinical discussion with your veterinary health care provider or with the staff at Amber Technology concerning re-administration of Vibactra beyond that time period.
Warning:
Keep Vibactra out of the reach of children under 16 years of age. The dosing guidelines must be followed exactly as written. Overdose of this product can cause serious side effects, to include irritability, change in behavior, reduced consciousness, vomiting and subsequent dehydration, stupor, coma, or death. It is important to weigh your pet before administration of this product. Continuous use of Vibactra without appropriate scheduled interruption is to be avoided, as it is associated with clinically significant listlessness, diarrhea and vomiting. As with any nutraceutical or pharmaceutical product, Vibactra may cause an allergic reaction that may manifest as either skin redness, urticaria (hives), peri-orbital edema (swelling around the eyes), or as potentially serious respiratory dysfunction associated with laryngeal edema. Any suggestion of allergic reaction, even the most subtle, should alert the pet owner or veterinary health care provider to cease any further administration of Vibactra and to assess for interventional measures for such a reaction. One should have all of the appropriate emergency contact information readily available before starting this or any nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or nutritional supplement. It is recommended that the pet owner, the novice in particular, discuss the use and side effect profile of this and any product with his or her veterinary health care provider. Co-administration of Vibactra with other agents must be done with caution. In the event of co-administration with other Amber Technology products, one must NOT mix Urinary Tract Relief, Kennel Koff, Kocci Free, HWF and Vibactra Plus. Co-administration with pharmaceutical antibiotics is considered safe in most instances, with rare exceptions. Two known exception is the co-administration of Vibactra with the antibiotic Baytril, and Tamiflu (Tamiflu is significant) which may have caused an adverse reaction of clinical significance. Therefore, this product should not be given to any animal receiving antibiotics or other Amber Technology products unless otherwise directed. Overdose of this product in a pregnant dog statistically increases the risk of miscarriage. Evidence of liver disease is a relative contraindication due to the presence of ethyl alcohol in this product (alcohol may be removed by protocol). All benefits and risks of this product should be weighed appropriately before use. For oral use only.

Olive Leaf, Mustard Seed, Black Seed, Pau D'arco, Ethyl Alcohol.
Olive Leaf – Diuretic, Blood Sugar. Olive Leaf stimulates anti-microbial activity against many species of virus and bacteria, as well as provides an enhancement for the immune system. Olive leaf can lower blood pressure and improve circulation and help maintain appropriate blood sugar levels.
Mustard Seed – Stimulant, Laxative, Digestive, Irritant. Mustard Seed is an anti-pyretic in common colds and influenza, stimulates circulation, reduces fever, and induces bowel movements.
Black Seed – Immune Stimulant, Digestive, Detoxifying, Expectorant . Black Seed provides ubiquitous immune and circulatory effects, as well as support for the pulmonary, gastrointestinal, hepatic, and renal systems. Black Seed is a detoxification of the liver and blood pressure. It improves kidney functions, promotes the secretion or expulsion of phlegm, mucus or other matter from the respiratory tract, including bronchial asthma (expectorant), and promotes the expulsion of intestinal parasites, digestion and elimination.
Pau D’arco – Tonic, Antitumor, Anti-Inflammatory, Antibiotic, Antifungal, Immune Stimulant, Cleanser. A South American herb that reduces pain and enhances immunity; effective against microscopic parasites, fungus, virus, and bacteria. It's particularly useful for infections of the upper respiratory system and gut. Large doses or continued use of this product can cause miscarriage in pregnant animals.
Ethyl Alcohol – Preservative, Intensifier. Intensifies, while preserving the properties of this herbal tincture.
