An All Natural Organic Herbal Dietary Supplement That May Help Dogs Overcome Parvo!
What Is Parvaid?
Parvaid is a unique blend of herbs that was developed in 1997 to help aid your dog in the fight against the deadly Parvo virus. This completely organic formulation contains 4 anti-microbials that assists the immune system to fight against the Parvo virus. Additionally, Parvaid contains three herbs that calm the stomach to relieve vomiting and diarrhea often associated with the virus. Parvaid also contains two herbs that help your dog’s body build up its immune system. Dogs usually show a significant improvement in their symptoms within 2-3 days with the use of Parvaid. In addition to its tremendous usefulness against the Parvovirus, Parvaid has shown supportive use against other intestinal issues such as general and nonspecific gastrointestinal problems, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and building of the immune system. Parvaid has also been known to help with symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea caused by environment changes, vomiting and diarrhea caused by diet, ease travel discomfort and gas.
What Is Parvo?
The Parvovirus is a common and potentially deadly viral disease that can affect dogs by attacking the intestinal tract. Parvo affects puppies much more frequently than it affects adult dogs, especially in the critical period between a puppy’s weaning from its mother and the build-up of its own immune system. The Parvovirus can cause symptoms of:
Vomiting
Diarrhea - (starts out with a yellow tinge unless there is a super infection which means more than one infection)
Lethargy
Depression
Dehydration
High fever
Over time, new symptoms of the virus have appeared, causing variations in treatment and driving Amber Technology to make changes to the formulation of Parvaid. Parvo is extremely resilient and can be transmitted in any discharge from an infected animal, especially feces and vomit. Vaccinations are a deterrent of Parvo, but are not guaranteed to inhibit the disease. Early detection and treatment are critical to maximize the probability of your dog surviving this disease.
How Do I Know If My Dog Is Suffering From Parvo?
Parvo is a virus that initially attacks the lining of the digestive system, and prevents dogs and puppies from absorbing nutrients or liquids. Puppies are especially prone to Parvo because they have an immature immune system. When dogs and puppies contract Parvo, symptoms usually begin with depression and loss of appetite.
Secondary symptoms appear as severe gastrointestinal distress, such as:
Vomiting
Bloody diarrhea (dark brown runny stools, color of brick)
High fever
Lethargy
Dehydration
Shock
Death can follow
How Is Parvo Transmitted?
Parvo can occur in any dog as the virus is easily transmitted. The virus is extremely hardy in the environment, and in some areas can survive 3 to 7 years. The Parvovirus withstands wide temperature fluctuations and most cleaning agents. Parvo can be brought home to your dog on shoes, hands, car tires, and even by flies and birds. Areas that are thought to be contaminated with Parvo should be thoroughly washed with chlorine bleach. Detailed instructions for assistance in fighting the Parvovirus can be found in the Amber Technology Parvo Self-Help Guide, a free download. The Parvovirus is specific to dogs and usually cannot be transmitted to humans or other species of pets. One step to avoid Parvo infection in your dog is to adhere to the recommended vaccination schedule which begins when puppies are 6-8 weeks of age, however, a majority of puppies that contract the Parvovirus are up to date on their vaccinations. It is also recommended to boost the immune system with vitamins before administering vaccinations. Keep puppies quarantined until they are at least 10 weeks of age (longer is better) and do not allow people to handle the puppies without the proper gear.
Parvaid Was Produced To Aid In The Fight Against Parvo
Conventional veterinary treatment for the canine Parvovirus takes a more invasive approach to eradicating the virus, and typically consists of giving fluids through a vein, and administering antibiotics. A series of vaccines are included in the conventional approach to treating the Parvovirus.
Parvaid is an all natural, organic approach to treating the Parvovirus and its symptoms. A key difference in treating this disease with the Parvaid protocol is that this completely organic solution contains anti-microbials that work on the Parvovirus which has been around for over a decade. Conventional treatments merely attempt to keep the symptoms and secondary infections at bay until the viral infection has run its course. The anti-microbials in Parvaid and Vibactra Plus work in concert with herbs to calm the digestive tract, and herbs that boost the dog’s immune system. Parvaid is made in an alcohol base in order to introduce the medicinal properties into the bloodstream quickly. With Parvo there is not much time to treat the disease. The combination of these herbal effects is why the success rate of Parvaid has been known to be nearly 90% during all stages of the Parvovirus. Expensive veterinary care in a clinic can have a success rate from between 50 – 80% if the disease is diagnosed in its early stages, and just 25-50% if caught in later stages.
The Parvovirus is a group of extremely small viruses that affect humans, dogs, rodents, pigs, cattle, and other animals (generally stays within its own species). Millions of particles can be found in one ounce of stool and an animal needs only one thousand of those particles to be infected.
An infection by the Parvovirus suppresses production of white blood cells in your dog, necessitating the use of an antibiotic in the treatment of Parvo to prevent secondary infections. Because of these secondary infections, we recommend using Vibactra Plus (Amber Technology’s antibiotic) in addition to Parvaid. This effective, all natural anti-biotic will aid the immune system keep secondary infections in check to include viral and microscopic parasites (common with the Parvovirus).
Parvaid Can Be Administered Before the Onset of Parvo
Parvaid may be used as a preventative if you have reason to believe your dog has been exposed to Parvo. When Parvo is introduced into the body, it finds a way into the glands of the animal and incubates. Eventually the virus will leave the gland and work its way into the intestinal tract where it will begin the process of eating away the lining causing symptoms. This usually takes anywhere from 3 to 15 days (average 3 days). If Parvaid is introduced before the virus reaches the intestinal tract nine times out of ten Parvaid will help the dog fight off the virus making it look as if Parvo never existed.
Amber Technology’s Life Cell Support is a Detox that can help Detox the virus from the lymphatic system. Amber Technology has found that if given Life Cell Support and Vibactra Plus the puppy has a greater chance of not coming down with the virus. If the puppy has a compromised immune system (vaccination, worming, super infection past illness) the puppy will most likely develop Parvo. However, if given Parvaid as a preventative the puppy will not become as sick as if the puppy did not have the products.
Parvaid has a shelf life of 4 years or longer and has been used as a preventative supplement in your dog’s diet or as a protocol for other issues such as vomiting, diarrhea, bad breath and gas.
Parvaid has been known to help with the SYMPTOMS of other issues such as extreme vomiting, diarrhea, E-Coli, distemper, Coccidia and Giardia.

Please read back of insert carefully before using Parvaid. For each one ounce bottle, the number of pets that receive a full ten day course of Parvaid ® is determined by calculating the total absolute dose based on weight on the nomogram (chart).
The standard dose of Parvaid is administered orally between 3-4 times daily as needed.
For Parvo cases: use once every hour.Add an additional 1-tablespoon to each 10 lbs of body weight over 50 lbs.
Administration Tips: Add Propel Peach Mango Fitness Water with Parvaid to improve the flavor to make it easier to administer to the dog. Also give an enema right away with the Parvaid as the large intestines will absorb and makes it easier to get into the system.
Long Term Use:
Co-administration of Parvaid with Vibactra Plus, Life Cell Support (aka Vaccination & Wormer Detox), Pet’s Pain Formula and other Amber Technology products is considered short term. However, there are clinical settings in which these products are utilized beyond a ten day regimen. Parvaid may be used for many months with clinical drug holidays (breaks) as directed for re-occurring intestinal dysfunctions, vomiting, diarrhea, gas, and cramping. The use of the Amber Technology products will optimize the prognosis of any puppy that is either at risk for infection or already infected. Scenarios in which these products are administered include vaccination, worming, declination of protective antibodies, and viral exposure. Ninety-five percent of puppies who receive preventive care show no sign of disease. Beyond preventive care, symptomatic treatment is critical.
For treating Parvovirus:
Administer the appropriate amount of Parvaid (calculated using the weight chart above) every 15 min for the first hour. After the first hour, Parvaid is co-administered along with electrolyte solution hourly by mouth (calculated using the weight chart above).
The calculated amount of Parvaid used in combination with electrolyte solution is administered every hour until the animal is eating on its own and is able to tolerate moist solid food for a minimum of 6 hours. After the 6 hour mark of food tolerance, Parvaid is no longer given in specific combination with electrolyte solution—assuming the pup is also tolerating liquid.
Please note instructions for hydration and hypoglycemia (two most important obstacles to overcome when treating a Parvo puppy) in the Parvo Self-Help Guide located on the left side panel of this website. If the pup is tolerating both food and liquid after 6 hours (note: first food section on the back of this insert), then electrolyte solution is no longer specifically combined with Parvaid and the dose of Parvaid is reduced incrementally. For the first 48 hours, the reduced dose of Parvaid is the same amount (calculated using the weight chart above) administered orally 4 times daily.
After 48 hours, the protocol is extended for five more days at a less frequent dosing rate (2 - 4 times daily) while maintaining the equivalent daily dose of Parvaid administered. After five days, this will complete a full week’s treatment, by which time the pup should have significantly recovered and have regained a fairly normalized clinical state. This one week treatment protocol also helps assure that relapse is prevented. Relapse is quite rare in the pup treated with Parvaid. However, relapse still may occur, particularly in the window of time during the first 48 hours after the pup initially tolerates oral food intake.
In case of relapse, the complete initial treatment regimen is re-initiated and vigilant attention to fluid status becomes critical (see back of insert enclosed with product). Use of enema to maintain proper volume status and to administer nutraceuticals may be necessary. See enema instructions on back of the insert. and in the Parvo Self-Help Guide. As always, consultation with your veterinary health care provider is suggested—particularly in a refractory state, which carries a much higher risk of mortality. Parvaid is intended for oral use only. In the atypical event that food is tolerated but oral fluid administration is not tolerated, then the fluid component along with Parvaid is administered via enema, as described in detail on the back section of the insert or Parvo Self-Help Guide under the heading Preparatory instructions for enema administration (again, it is suggested to consult with your veterinary health care provider). The use of Parvaid in conjunction with standard veterinary protocols is also located on the insert and Guide.
Preventative Use:
The use of the Amber Technology products used to treat Parvovirus-infected dogs will optimize the prognosis of any dog that is either at risk for infection or is already infected. Scenarios in which these products are administered include vaccination, worming, declination of protective antibodies, and viral exposure. 95 percent of puppies who receive preventive care show no sign of disease. Beyond preventive care, symptomatic treatment is critical. The preventative use is not a substitute for vaccinations.
General guideline for preventative care:
Parvaid 4 times daily
Vibactra Plus 2 times daily
Life Cell Support 2 times daily
The above general protocol is followed for 5 days. For vaccinations, Life Cell Support/Vaccination and Wormer Detox is administered twice daily for 1 week immediately after the vaccination, with an option to start treatment up to one week before vaccination and extend that treatment through a full second week.
When you bring your dog onto Parvo exposed property wait 2 days. Then give Parvaid 4 times a day for 5 days to help prevent your puppy from coming down with Parvo.
Suggested Veterinarian Use
Parvaid® is given only four times a day (every 6 hours), while the dose is quadrupled to maintain the same total daily dose as prescribed for oral administration. This increase of dose at longer intervals is safe, as the continuous intravenous infusion of fluids assures hydration. In this regimen, fluids are not administered orally unless the veterinary staff uses oral fluids to dilute the taste of the oral regimen. Parvaid is intended for Oral Use Only.
The rationale for the dose change is to assure full treatment in the veterinary setting. Balanced titration of IV fluid rate of infusion with that of oral fluid rate and volume of administration assures that the pup is not over-repleted or under-repleted with fluid. Over-infusion risks congestive heart failure. Co-administration of pharmaceutical antibiotics with Amber Technology products is safe and synergistic, with the exception of Baytril and Tamiflu.
Typically, puppies on intravenous fluids under the care of a Veterinarian will be released to home with subcutaneous fluid injections (injection of pre-measured ampules of electrolyte solution for injection under the skin). Optimally, a gradual change-over from subcutaneous fluids is recommended. Subcutaneous fluid administration is vital to continue until clinical improvement which includes ability to drink without vomiting. Once this stage of recovery is attained, we then recommend prudent gradual weaning from subcutaneous fluid injections.
Warning:
This product must be kept out of the reach of all children under the age of 16. This product may be dangerous for use in some cats. One must not exceed the daily recommended dose. This product is safe and effective when given as directed. The dosing guidelines must be followed exactly as written.
Overdose of this product can cause serious side effects, to include irritability, change in behavior, reduced consciousness, vomiting and subsequent dehydration, or stupor. Idiosyncratic reactions (not related to dose) include but are not limited to allergic reaction, which may manifest as cutaneous erythema (red skin), hives, periorbital swelling (around the eyes), serious breathing problems due to laryngeal edema and glottal closure, or a combination of more than one of these.
At the first sign of adverse reaction, to include even the more innocuous, one must cease any further use of this product and immediately avail oneself to emergency consultation concerning these adverse effects, which may include emergency assessment. One should have all of the appropriate emergency contact information readily available before starting this or any nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or nutritional supplement. It is recommended that the pet owner, the novice in particular, discuss the use and side effect profile of this and any product with his or her veterinary health care provider.
Co-administration of Parvaid also with other agents must be done with caution. In the event of co-administration with other Amber Technology products, one must NOT mix Vibactra Plus with Kennel Koff, Kocci Free, Urinary Tract Relief, or with Vibactra.
Co-administration with pharmaceutical antibiotics is considered safe in most instances, with rare exception. Two known exception is the co-administration of Vibactra Plus with the antibiotic Baytril and Tamiflu, which may have caused an adverse reaction of clinical significance. Therefore, co-administration of this product is acceptable with all but Baytril and Tamiflu. With co-administration of Vibactra Plus and a pharmaceutical antibiotic, use of Vibactra Plus will be at half dose.
Both normal dosing or overdosing of this product in a pregnant dog statistically increases the risk of miscarriage. Therefore, the benefits of product are outweighed by its risks in the pregnant dog. Use of this product in the presence of endocrine pancreatic dysfunction (e.g. diabetes mellitus or acute infectious pancreatitis) is contraindicated. Evidence of liver disease is a relative contraindication due to the presence of ethyl alcohol in this product (alcohol may be removed by protocol - for every drop of Parvaid, add one drop of hot water in order to dissipate the alcohol). All benefits and risks of this product should be weighed appropriately before use. Parvaid is intended for oral use only.

"Thank you for the medicine. She's fat, active, and happy again. She's eating regular again and her stool was only a little loose yesterday. Her bowel movements are firming up and she hasn't vomited since Friday. Again, thank you so much. I was so worried about her. I haven't allowed myself to have a dog in so long because I just don't seem to be very lucky with it. I haven't had a puppy for about ten years now and I had to wait a year and half for Tiny Puggles. Then, when she became ill less than 3 weeks after obtaining her I just fell apart. I was crying in the vets office because I couldn't afford their care and they wouldn't keep her without cash or credit. I found you when I was at my wits end the day they had me take her home and she wasn't well yet. Please feel free to use this when advertising for the PARVAID because I know she wouldn't be here if she didn't have it." - Audrey Wolfer, Martinsburg -
"My name is Christina and my puppy's name is Sassy (3 months old). My puppy just experienced a terrible sickness "Parvo" last weekend. I took her to the vet on Tuesday since Monday was a holiday. The vet wanted to keep her in the hospital. He said she might have a case of the Parvovirus and she only has a 50/50 survival rate. I was devastated!!! I had $90.00 credit at the vets because prior to her getting sick that Saturday morning, she received her first set of vaccinations (6 in 1 plus de-wormer). When I took her in Tuesday they advised me to put her down and use my credit towards her, I said no, give her a chance. I went home researched on the Internet and came across the blessed herbal products from Amber Technology (Parvaid and Vibactra Plus). I was blessed to notify Amber Technology the following morning the use of their products and remedies were a MIRACLE. Within hours of taking the product, my puppy sat up and amazed me, around 4 am after drinking oat water and liver puree she wanted out of her cage to go outside and use the restroom, and by noon she was eating and drinking all alone!! Now she is eating bland food which includes meatball soup with vegetables and rice. After 2 days of the Parvaid and Vibactra Plus, she is running and playing as if nothing ever happened to her. I just want to thank the Amber Technology staff for the positive support and recommendations and SAVING MY PUPPY. Also, the SAVINGS FROM THE VET BILL, because they wanted to keep her in the hospital for 5-7 days. And with Parvaid and Vibactra Plus she was only in there one day and I came home to fix and prepare what I needed for the sake of my puppies life. Once again I could have not made it without Amber Technology and staff, blessings to you ALL!!" - Love, Christina & Sassy -
"I would like to thank you for saving my dogs life. A year ago my dog had parvo. The vet gave me a quote of 6-8 hundred dollars. He was near death when the Parvaid arrived. Wasn't eating, wasn't moving...hardly breathing. After the dose of Parvaid every 15 min for an hour...he was eating and running around on the couch. This truly saved his life. I tell everyone about this site. Thank you so much." - Kelly Weiland -
Our 3 puppies came down with Parvo and we were BLESSED to find Parvaid and Vibactra Plus!! Within a day, our puppies were drinking water again and started to wag their tails (a tremendous site to see after you experience your normally happy puppy lifeless). Within two days my puppies were eating and drinking and behaving much more like a puppy should. Without these products, I know they would not have made it. Conventional vet treatment is very pricey and with 3 puppies, we just couldn't afford it. I wholeheartedly believe in all of Amber Techs products!!! I wouldn't give my dogs anything else when it comes to their health!! Thanks again!!
