"Just a brief note to let you know how well your product Life Cell Support is working for my dog. My dog is a Cockapoo 1 and 1/2 year old and has cancer. He had a lot of bumps on his belly and after a visit at the groomer (Pet Resort in Coeur d'Alene, ID, they suggested for me to try your product. I was amazed! After 6 months of use, almost all the bumps are gone and my dog is playful, healthy and he acts again like a puppy should. I don't have enough words to thank you for making this incredible product. Now I recommended it to the Vet and she probably is going to use it too! Thank you again. "
Strengthens the heart muscle, improve circulation and may be used as a diuretic.
THE HEART:
The heart is a muscular organ responsible for pumping blood through the blood vessels by repeated, rhythmic contractions. It is divided into four chambers, two on the left and two on the right.
The term cardiac (as in cardiology) means "related to the heart" and comes from the Greek καρδία, kardia, for "heart." The heart is composed of cardiac muscle, an involuntary muscle tissue which is found only within this organ. cardiomyopathy (cardio = heart, myo = muscle, pathy = disease) refers to diseases of the heart.
The common heart diseases suffered by dogs often lead to heart failure. Dogs will generally suffer what is called Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), a relatively slow worsening of symptoms as the heart struggles to compensate for whatever defect or disease is present. As the condition develops, it will affect all other organs in the body that rely on the efficient supply of nutrient-rich blood.
Hawthorn & Dandelion has been developed to help strengthen your pet’s heart. It is also being used in conditions such as heartworms, a condition that can cause Congestive Heart Failure.
There are two common types of heart disease in canines. Type one - the dog's heart valves lose their ability to close properly, causing abnormal blood flow. Type two - the muscular walls of a dog's heart become thinned and weakened. Both of these types of heart disease will develop gradually over time resulting in the same ultimate condition heart failure.
Heart failure can happen to dogs of all ages. In the young, this is typically the result of congenital abnormalities in the formation of the heart or blood vessels, which surround it. In older animals, it is usually a case in which one side or chamber is weakened or over-worked due to altered circulatory patterns.
Of the dogs in the United States examined annually by a veterinarian, approximately 3.2 million have some form of acquired heart disease and may be in heart failure.
Signs of heart disease in dogs:
Although some of the early stages of heart failure in dogs have no visible signs, heart failure can be diagnosed through a clinical evaluation by a veterinarian.
Dogs with mild to moderate heart failure:
Heart enlargement
Lethargy
Difficulty breathing
Elevated blood pressure
Pulmonary edema which causes the animal to cough as to clear the lungs
Severe heart failure:
All of the above and
Weakness
Difficulty breathing (even at rest)
Fainting
Profound intolerance to exercise
Loss of appetite
Weight loss
Heart Disease in Felines
The most common type of heart disease in felines is HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy). HCM is a heart disorder in which the left wall of the heart grows and thickens.
Symptoms of HCM are most frequently seen in young and middle-aged male cats, usually before the age of 5-6, but have been recorded in cats as young as 8 months and as old as 16.
The symptoms could be one or several of the following:
Lack of appetite
Increased weariness / lethargy
Less activity
Difficulty in breathing
Gagging
Weight loss
Coughing
Another serious symptom is hind limb pain or paralysis, which results from a blood clot within distal aorta, back in the rear limbs where the aorta splits. You should contact a vet immediately if you notice these symptoms.
Never give your cat aspirin or paracetamol without first having consulted a vet! Amber Technology has developed a product called Adizone C for Felines. Adizone C for Felines can help your cat with some of these symptoms. Hawthorn & Dandelion has been developed to help strengthen your cat’s heart.
Prevention:
There are few things that can be done to prevent heart disease. Diagnosing the disease earlier in its course is very helpful in slowing the progression. Notify your veterinarian of any signs of heart failure in your pet. Keeping your pet healthy and at the ideal weight can lessen the severity of symptoms that heart disease may develop. Good oral health is also important.
Suggested Use:
Give orally 4 times daily as needed. Must have plenty of fluid available for animal at all times.

For each one ounce bottle, the number of pets that receive a full ten day course of Hawthorn & Dandelion ™ is determined by calculating the total absolute dose based on weight (see chart).
The standard dose of Hawthorn & Dandelion ™ is administered orally 1-4 times daily as needed. During full treatment of HWF ™ the dose is 4 times daily. This chart will help calculate the number of bottles one would need to fulfill the treatment.
When treating more than one pet with the same dropper, it is necessary to assure sterile administration without carry over from pet to pet. The best way to assure this is to use the dropper only to transfer product to an individual sterile oral syringe—a different syringe for each pet. Those syringes should be sterilized after each use. Each pet should have its own syringe that is not shared with another pet. If a syringe is not readily available, until one can be found, one may mix the product with a larger volume of flavored fluid (e.g. tuna or salmon water) that is to be lapped from a bowl. However, the use of a syringe assures a more accurate dose.
Long Term Use:
Co-administration of Hawthorn & Dandelion ™ with HWF ™ should be used through the duration of the treatment. The Hawthorn & Dandelion ™ is used to strengthen the heart, and act as a mild diuretic. Hawthorn & Dandelion ™ may need further usage beyond the use of HWF treatment due to the damage heartworms can cause. If further Hawthorn & Dandelion ™ is deemed necessary for the pet, then a maximum use of this product is six months. At that time a one week period off product is mandated, as is clinical discussion with your veterinary health care provider or with the staff at Amber Technology concerning re-administration of Hawthorn & Dandelion beyond that time period.
Hawthron & Dandelion ™ should only be used for specific ailments and conditions. When diseases pose risk of heart damage (such as heartworms) then Hawthron & Dandelion ™ can be used as a preventative measure. There are few things that one can do to prevent heart disease. Diagnosing the disease earlier in its course is very helpful in slowing the progression. Notify your veterinarian of any signs of heart failure in your pet. Keeping your pet healthy and at his ideal weight can lessen the severity of symptoms heart disease generates. Good oral health is also important. A healthy diet and exercise during all seasons of the year with exceptions to extremely cold days, smoggy air and during extreme weather conditions (consult your veterinarian before exercising your pet if heart disease is present).
WARNING:
Keep Hawthorn & Dandelion ™ out of the reach of children under 16 years of age. The safety profile for Hawthorn & Dandelion ™ has not been established in pregnant or nursing animals and its use should be avoided in those cases.
One must not exceed the daily recommended dose. It is important to weigh your pet before administration of this product to obtain accurate daily dosing. As with any nutraceutical or pharmaceutical product, Hawthorn & Dandelion ™ may cause an allergic reaction that may manifest as either skin redness, urticaria (hives), peri-orbital edema (swelling around the eyes), or as potentially serious respiratory dysfunction associated with laryngeal edema.
Any suggestion of allergic reaction, even the most subtle, should alert the pet owner or veterinary health care provider to cease any further administration of Hawthorn & Dandelion™ and to assess for interventional measures for such a reaction.
One should have all of the appropriate emergency contact information readily available before starting this or any nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or nutritional supplement. Experience with Hawthorn & Dandelion™ suggests no signs or symptoms of overdose beyond that which is reflected in a reduction in the pet’s level of activity.
For any questions concerning a potential allergic reaction or the adverse reaction of listlessness should be addressed by immediately contacting your veterinary health care provider. Hawthorn & Dandelion™ should be taken with plenty of water.
A water dish should be provided at all times and animal monitored to ensure the fluid consumption. If the animal is not consuming fluid on its own then fluid must be orally administered. Do not administer Hawthorn & Dandelion™ if animal is dehydrated. The dosing guidelines MUST be followed precisely as written. Do not exceed the daily recommended dose.
Do not use Hawthorn & Dandelion™ in conjunction with Amber Technology’s Life Cell Support™. Use of this drug in the presence of endocrine pancreatic dysfunction (e.g. diabetes mellitus or acute infectious pancreatitis) is contraindicated.
Evidence of liver disease is a relative contraindication due to the presence of ethyl alcohol in this product (alcohol may be removed by protocol). All benefits and risks of this product should be weighed appropriately before use.
Hawthorn– Diuretic, Antispasmodic. Hawthorn is primarily used to improve cardiovascular health. Modern research has proven Hawthorn to be valuable as an herb for cardiovascular problems in order to promote a healthy heart. It causes more blood flow to reach the muscles of the heart. Hawthorn can also help to reduce the incidence of angina, which is a spasm of the blood vessels, improve the smooth muscle walls of the rest of the circulatory system, improve blood pressure, improve circulation and treat symptoms of mild heart failure, decreasing the occurrence of chest pain, reducing atherosclerosis, and helping with trouble sleeping. Hawthorn will not stop an angina attack. Hawthorn is an herbal product. It works by widening blood vessels, especially heart blood vessels, which results in increased heart blood flow.
Dandelion – Diuretic, Detoxifier. Research has shown that Dandelion works well as a diuretic, but the mechanism for its work is not understood. Research in Germany showed that it helped to detoxify the body and stimulate the production of bile. Dandelion helps with water retention, regulation of blood glucose, upset stomach, urinary tract infections, kidney and bladder stones, liver and loss of appetite.
Ethyl Alcohol – Preservative, Intensifier. Intensifies, while preserving the properties of this herbal tincture.
