The nervous system of your pet integrates and controls all of the organs and biological systems in the body. Through electrical impulses, your pet’s brain communicates with and controls all these organs and internal systems. Derma NERV facilitates the healthy and normal communications and control processes by clearing and strengthening the pathways over which the electrical impulses are transmitted.
How Can I Tell When My Pet Is Suffering From A Nerve Disorder?
Damage to the nerves in your pet’s body can be caused by physical injury, swelling and inflammation, auto-immune disorders, infection, or failure of the blood vessels surrounding the nerve. Pinched nerves are a common form of nerve damage that can affect your pet. This nerve damage results in pain, numbness, weakness, and even paralysis. Your pet may feel these symptoms in areas apart from the actual site of the damage, a phenomenon called referred pain. This can occur because the nerve damage interferes with the signals that are transmitted to and from other parts of the body from the affected nerve.
How Can A Disruption In The Nervous System Affect My Pet?
As your pet’s nervous system controls and integrates all the other organs and systems in your pet, a faulty portion of the nervous system can have wide ranging effects. Everything from muscle control, cardiovascular health, the proper secretion of hormones, healthy metabolism, immune function, digestive health, and waste elimination systems can be adversely affected by a faulty or weakened nervous system.

For bigger animals: Over 251 lbs add 5 drops to every 100 lbs of body weight.
Administer the appropriate dose in number of drops, as determined by the above weight-based nomogram (chart).
The standard dosing of Derma NERV is administered orally between 1-3 times daily, for up to ten days as needed.
Long Term Use:
Co-administration of Derma Nerv™ with Adizone and other Amber Technology products is short term. However, there are clinical settings in which Derma Nerv™ is utilized beyond a ten day regimen. Derma Nerv™ may be used for many months with clinical drug holidays (breaks) as directed for the nervous tension, mental fatigue, poor memory, rebuild nerves, aid in nerve pain and itching. For the first six months of long term use, Derma Nerv™ is administered up to three times daily.
Administration of Derma Nerv™ beyond six months mandates a two week holiday (break) from product before re-starting the same schedule. Derma Nerv™ may be administered as described for up to three consecutive six month cycles with two week breaks in between. If further Derma Nerv™ is deemed necessary for the pet, then a minimum six month period off product is mandated, as is clinical discussion with your veterinary health care provider or with the staff at Amber Technology concerning re-administration of Derma Nerv™ beyond that time period.
When treating more than one pet with the same dropper, it is necessary to assure sterile administration without carry over from pet to pet. The best way to assure this is to use the dropper only to transfer product to an individual sterile oral syringe—a different syringe for each pet. Syringes should be sterilized after each use. Each pet should have its own syringe that is not shared with another pet. If a syringe is not readily available, until one can be found, one may mix the product with a larger volume of flavored fluid (e.g. tuna or salmon water) that is to be lapped from a bowl. However, the use of a syringe assures a more accurate dose.
WARNINGS:
Keep Derma NERV out of the reach of children under 16 years of age. Use of Derma NERV ™ is contraindicated with concurrent administration of thyroid medication due to known ability of the lemon balm to block some of the activity of thyroid hormone in the body (DO NOT USE in conjunction with TYD ™ or any thyroid prescribed medication).
Use of Derma NERV necessitates veterinary health care provider input when treating animals with high blood pressure and/or diabetes mellitus. The Yohimbe component of Derma NERV is known to have an insulin-blocking effect and is, contraindicated in diabetes mellitus due to the insufficient insulin response in that population. Overdose of Derma NERV would further risk this complication. The safety profile for Derma NERV ™ has not been established in pregnant animals and its use should be avoided in those cases.
Not to be used if pet has diabetes or renal disease. Can cause hypotension and fluid retention.
As with any nutraceuticals or pharmaceutical product, Derma NERV may cause an allergic reaction that may manifest as either skin redness, urticaria (hives), edema (swelling), or as potentially serious respiratory dysfunction associated with laryngeal edema. Any suggestion of allergic reaction, even the most subtle, should alert the pet owner or veterinary health care provider to cease any further administration of Derma NERV and to assess for interventional measures for such a reaction. One should have all of the appropriate emergency contact information readily available before starting this or any nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical, or nutritional supplement. For any questions concerning a potential allergic reaction or the adverse reaction of listlessness should be addressed by immediately contacting your veterinary health care provider.
The inflammatory response of your pet is an immune response. Because the ingredients of this product summarily effect an attenuation of the inflammatory response, it is recommended that Derma NERV ™ not be administered concurrently with any product that may additionally effect a dampening of the immune response. One must not exceed the daily recommended dose. It is important to weigh your pet before administration of this product to obtain accurate daily dosing.
Use of this product in the presence of endocrine pancreatic dysfunction (e.g. diabetes mellitus or acute infectious pancreatitis) is contraindicated.
Evidence of liver disease is a relative contraindication due to the presence of ethyl alcohol in this product. Alcohol may be removed by protocol (for every drop of Derma NERV, add 1 drop of hot water and let cool). All benefits and risks of this product should be weighed appropriately before use.

Lemon Balm – Anti-Thyroid, Antispasmodic, Carminative, Antiviral. Aids in nervous tension and insomnia, and is used to treat colds, fevers and coughs. Based on research, the German Commission E recognizes lemon balm for treating nervous disturbances of sleep and functional gastrointestinal disorders. Lemon balm can also be used against mental fatigue, poor memory, chronic fatigue syndrome, and thyroid disorders. Lemon balm extract also has strong antimicrobial properties against viral, bacterial and fungal infections and can be used both internally and externally. Studies show that lemon balm extract is effective against herpes simplex, Newcastle disease and other viruses.
Yohimbe – Aphrodisiac, Stimulant. Yohimbe aids in an increase in dilation of blood vessels, helping lower blood pressure. Yohimbe may also reduce depression and anxiety and aid in weight loss by suppressing the body's ability to store fat.
Skullcap – Nerve Tonic, Sedative, Antispasmodic. Relaxes states of nervous tension and has a specific use in the treatment of seizure and hysterical states. It is useful in insomnia and nervous headaches. Its bitter taste is also strengthening and stimulating to the digestive system.
Nettle – Diuretic, Anti-Allergenic, Prostate Health,Astringent, Tonic, Breast Milk Production. Has an important effect on the kidney and on fluid and uric acid excretion, is of benefit in gout and other arthritic conditions, particularly if there is an element of anemia. Other clinical trials have reported improvements in urinary flow, and a reduction of urinary frequency and nocturnal and residual urine after six months treatment.
Wood Betony – Pain Relief, Digestive, Sedative,Astringent. Helps treat nervous debility associated with anxiety and tension and neuralgia when of nervous origin, especially those caused by hypertension.
Ethyl Alcohol – Preservative, Intensifier. Intensifies while preserving the properties of this herbal tincture.
